New electric gates website energises BFT Automation

The GateQuote.co.uk website has been designed and developed specifically to attract customers looking to install electric gates for their home or access systems for commercial premises.

Using the already established corporate branding and identity, we were able to design this website to enhanced and support BFT’s current marketing materials.

By providing BFT with the tools to edit and add content to the site, as and when required (using a Content Management System), we were able to provide a scalable online marketing tool which can grow with the business and still remain flexible to upgrade in the future, with new features.

We established early on that Search Engine Optimisation was an important requirement for this new website, so that BFT could gain good positioning in search results, against their competitors. By coding the site and providing all the necessary fields in the CMS (eg. META keywords) BFT can benefit from ensuring they have the power to grow the site as often as they like.

We used Expression Engine for the CMS and the website hosting is provided by IC360, using a Linux server running a MySQL database.
