Reading based Oracle Storage Systems supply and install a huge range of shelving, storage and other industrial support products for clients right across the UK. They rely on getting lots of business from their web presence, so getting their website right was imperative.
The key requirements were to get as much useful and search-engine-friendly content on the website as possible, to get the best opportunity good positions on search results. On top of that, it needed have the usual competent Content Management System and ecommerce functionality. In order to cater for numerous different product types, there are flexible tools for creating categories which are presented in an easy-to-use navigation on the site.
There are also options to make products available for purchase, for providing brochure PDFs for download and a facility for customers to enquire about specific products.
This is a completely custom built website front end and content management system. We have used the SagePay payment gateway to process the order payments. It is hosted by IC360 on a Linux server.
